The challenge had just started, and everyone was excited. Graham and Harry already had their first letter. Ned, however, had forgotten his hat at the BBC—oh, Ned! Meanwhile, Astrid and Eden were trying to solve their first clue.
Astrid read the clue again: “This place is taller than you.” Eden repeated, “Taller than you!” Then Astrid added, “But shorter than the London Eye.” Eden looked puzzled for a second. “You know the London Eye! It’s the big wheel,” she said. “That’s definitely taller than us!” Astrid nodded. “So the place we need is tall, but not that tall.” Suddenly, Eden’s face lit up. “Look! I know where we need to go. Come on!”
Elsewhere, Harry was amazed by what he saw. “Dad, look! This is amazing,” he said. But Graham reminded him, “Come on, Harry. We need to be a bit quicker.”
Back with Astrid and Eden, they were climbing higher and higher. “It’s up there,” Astrid said breathlessly. The climb was difficult, and both of them felt exhausted. “I’m more tired than I’ve ever been,” said Eden. Finally, they reached the top.
Astrid looked around carefully. “Edes, I’ve got it!” she said excitedly. “It’s here — the letter R!” “R?” Eden asked. Astrid smiled. “Yes, taller than us, shorter than the London Eye — R!” Paula then announced, “Astrid and Eden have their first letter. Graham and Harry also have one. And it looks like Clare and Ned are… oh dear.”
